Is this a real IQ test?
This is a cognitive profile assessment that provides estimated performance scores across five domains. It is not a clinically validated psychometric instrument and is not equivalent to professional tools like the WAIS, WISC, or Stanford-Binet. For a clinical IQ assessment, consult a licensed psychologist.
How accurate are the scores?
Scores are estimated by comparing your responses to age-calibrated norm tables built from population data. They are useful for understanding relative cognitive strengths across domains, but carry a confidence interval of approximately ±8–12 points. Treat them as a reliable estimate, not a definitive measurement.
Do I need to create an account to take the test?
No. You can start the test immediately — just enter your age. No signup, no email, no credit card. After you finish, you have two options: create a free account to unlock your full results, or pay $3.99 to receive them by email.
Is the test really free?
Yes. Taking the 30-question test is completely free. Viewing your full results is also free — just create a free account with Google or email after you finish. The only paid option is $3.99 email + PDF delivery for users who prefer not to create an account.
What does the free account give me?
A free account unlocks everything: your estimated composite score, exact percentile, 5-domain radar chart, domain-by-domain breakdown, narrative strengths and growth analysis, timing metrics, and permanent access to your results.
What age ranges are supported?
We support ages 6 through 80+. Each age band (6–9, 10–12, 13–15, 16–17, 18–54, 55+) uses a different test variant and scoring norms calibrated for that developmental stage.
How long does the test take?
The adult variant (18+) has 30 questions with a 25-minute timer. Child variants are shorter. Questions are interleaved across the 5 domains — similar to how WAIS-5 presents items. The timer is server-controlled and cannot be paused or extended.
What happens if I run out of time?
When the timer expires, your session is automatically finalized with the answers you have provided. Unanswered questions are marked as skipped and do not count against your score.
Can I retake the test?
Yes. Each session is scored independently. Note that familiarity with question types can slightly inflate repeat scores — a known limitation of any repeatable assessment.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your responses and scores are stored securely, protected by row-level security policies. Only you (and authorized admins) can access your session data. We do not sell personal data.
What is the $3.99 email option?
If you prefer not to create an account, you can pay $3.99 to receive your full cognitive profile report by email. Enter your email address at the Stripe checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe and results are delivered immediately after confirmation.
Can I get a refund on the $3.99?
Because the report is delivered digitally and immediately, we do not offer refunds once it has been sent. If you experience a technical issue (e.g., email not received), please contact support.
Is this suitable for children?
We offer child-specific variants for ages 6+. If the user is under 13, a parent or guardian should supervise the session. Results for minors should be interpreted with additional care.
